About RAS
The Rural Aid Service (RAS) is a non-profit, non-political, secular organization registered in Manipur Societies Registration Act of 1989, Manipur Act No. 1 of 1990.
Rural Aid Service (RAS)
The organization was registered in the Union of Home Ministry under FCRA and acquired 12A, 80G and Permanent Account Number (PAN) in the Department of Income Tax, Jorhat, and it was also published in the Manipur gazette Extra ordinary in July 6, 2005.
The Rural Aid Service was incorporated on 1995 in view of bringing peace and development with the sole spirit of “Empowerment through Social Action”. The organization have been working in different projects namely, NERCORMPP, Childline collab, RNBA – Bread for the world (BROT), Germany and is also a Representative Office (RO) of North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (NEDFi).

The organization strive to make a humble contribution to economically vulnerable groups of people, committing ourselves as an agent of solving problems also facilitating them in sensitizing their issues through social action with a limited capacity in partnership with others in building a better society, based on justice and peace.
